{"id":715,"date":"2020-08-31T23:45:19","date_gmt":"2020-08-31T21:45:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/savelife.stream\/?p=715"},"modified":"2020-09-03T16:44:47","modified_gmt":"2020-09-03T14:44:47","slug":"mountains-and-national-parks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/savelife.stream\/en\/our-home\/mountains-and-national-parks","title":{"rendered":"Mountains and National Parks"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The Highest of Natural Beauties<\/h2>\n<h3>Tara<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Tara<\/strong>, one of the most beautiful mountains in Serbia, is located in the western part of the country, close to Bajina Ba\u0161ta and above Peru\u0107a\u010dko Jezero lake on the Drina river.<\/p>\n<p>The Tara National Park covers an area of 19,750 hectares. Tara is home to a <strong>diverse range of plant life<\/strong>, amongst which, the Serbian or Pan\u010di\u0107 spruce, which is only found here, is especially worthy of mention.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Srbija. Moje putovanje - Planine Srbije\" width=\"1080\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gUOBw1lKE7A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Visitors can make use of pedestrian paths (10 km) and there is a fitness circuit (1.6 km), a football pitch and outdoor small sports fields, amongst other facilities, for those who enjoy sport and recreation. There are ski slopes and two ski-lifts, a 150 m-long one for children and beginners and a 450 m-long one for amateur skiers, located at 1000 m above sea-level.<\/p>\n<p>In the summer season, tourists have the use of a managed beach on the lake, rowing boats and outdoor swimming pools.<\/p>\n<h3>Kopaonik<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Kopaonik, the largest mountain range in Serbia<\/strong>, extends from the northwest to the southeast for 80 km, and has a width of around 40 km in the middle.<\/p>\n<p>Kopaonik has a subalpine climate and and is rightfully known as <strong>the Mountain of the Sun<\/strong> for there are almost 200 sunny days during the year.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"#VidiSrbiju -  Kopaonik\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FsC2F877uRo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Kopaonik lends itself to active relaxation throughout the year and is <strong>the largest and best-known Serbian ski centre<\/strong>. The Ravni Kopaonik plateau is centred around tourism, with a wide range of accommodation and a network of ski slopes amongst other facilities. Another tourist hotspot is located near the village of Brze\u0107a, on the eastern slope of Kopaonik. This tourist resort has a network of 24 ski-lifts connected in one system and 2 children\u2019s lifts, and caters for all types of skiers. Guests also have the use of a 12km-slope for Nordic skiing, and in Crvene Bare there are marked slopes of 3, 5 and 10 km in length. The jagged landscape of Kopaonik is ideal for paragliding.<\/p>\n<h3>Fru\u0161ka Gora<\/h3>\n<p><strong>National Park \u201cFru\u0161ka Gora\u201d is the oldest national park in Serbia<\/strong> that was established in 1960. <strong>The nature wealth<\/strong>: plant and animal wildlife, landscapes, thermal springs \u2013 spas and lakes are the basis for tourism of special interests (walking, cyclotourism, bird watching, fishing, hunting) as well as for recreational and picnic programmes, schools in nature, nautical, health-spa\/wellness tourism.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Novi Sad - Fruska gora aktivan odmor\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fjb_odzTZKA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Fru\u0161ka Gora is <strong>the area of good wines<\/strong> where Irig, Bano\u0161tor, Sremski Karlovci and \u0160id can be singled out among the wine centres. Some of the well-known wines include Riesling, Bermet, Frankovka, Merlot, Game, Vranac, Portuguiser, and Ausbruch\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Fru\u0161ka Gora area is a congregation of extraordinary amenities with preserved eco systems, lakes, picnic sites, historical sites, cultural monuments and original building, i.e. architectural heritage.
